Dear Lunada Bay Families,
The most recent i-Ready assessment has concluded and results will be sent home next week. Please remember the i-Ready test is a computer adaptive. This means there will be questions that students have not been taught how to answer. The diagnostic assessment adapts to each student, providing easier or harder questions depending on students’ answers to previous questions.
This diagnostic assessment is especially beneficial for providing differentiated instruction, for identifying gaps, or for determining where students are ready for further challenge. i-Ready Diagnostic assesses student performance across the key domains providing a valid and reliable measure of student growth with detailed diagnostic results and individualized next steps for instruction.
If you have any questions please reach out to your teacher or Mr. Bernal.
Health Office Reminder:
Please be sure that if your child needs to take any medication at school, for example an inhaler or epi-pen, make sure to complete the Request for Medication at School Form, located on the PVPUSD website under Parents & Students Health Forms.
Our next Flag Ceremony will be on campus. I will be streamed into the classrooms to recognize and celebrate our students. We are working on Team Spirit for March. I will also reach out to individual families enrolled in DLA or IS that are participating in character traits so we can continue to celebrate with those students.

· Come to the office to pick up your directory. · Please use this microsoft form to check-out a library book.
· Due to the current public health order, parents and volunteers are not allowed on campus. If you need to conduct any business at school, we ask that you please come to the Front Office, with a mask, and we will be happy to help.
With spring break on the horizon, please continue to be mindful of your health status, travel, gatherings and other high-risk exposure activities that might put our community at risk. If you travel out of state or internationally, you must self-quarantine for 10 days after arrival and before returning to Lunada Bay. An outbreak at a school will result in school closure, something we all want to avoid.
