PVPUSD ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

Welcome to the P.V.P.U.S.D. Enrichment Program.  This program has provided educational and stimulating after school classes since 1998.  All classes are conveniently located on each school campus. Offerings include visual and performing arts, science, sports, and fun and games.

Class instructors will enrich and nurture your student’s talents and imagination. This fall we are pleased to announce a new on-line format. This site will enable students and parents to view class offerings, register and pay on-line via a secure webs

  -  Under the Sessions drop down menu choose Adult Education or Enrichment.

  -  Under the Category drop down menu choose an appropriate class category.

  -  Under the Location drop down menu choose a school

  -  Click the Search button

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Registration

Students may attend classes after registration is complete online at the link above.  All district fees, including Kid's Corner fees, must be paid before students attend the first class meeting. There will be NO REFUNDS after enrolling.

Program Polices

There are no make-up classes and no refunds for absences.

There are no student substitutions including siblings.

Classes will be canceled if they do not meet minimum enrollment. Parents will be notified about cancelled classes through the email provided at registration.  Parents will receive a full refund.

Occasionally, classes must be canceled due to inclement weather.  Please be available by phone on rainy days in case a class must be canceled.

Please dress your child in appropriate clothing.  Some projects are messy and clothes may be stained.

Class Attendance/Absences

Students will meet the Enrichment Instructor and Kids’ Corner Representative at the class location. If a child is not in class, the Kids’ Corner Representative will find the child. For students’ safety, we will determine the whereabouts of every child on the class list.

If your child will not attend class, please call the Enrichment Office at (310) 541-7626 (ext. 292/293).

Late Pickups

STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP ON TIME! Instructors will stay with students for ten (10) minutes after class dismissal time.  If a student is not picked up after ten minutes, he/she will be taken to the Kids’ Corner room.

Late Pickup Fees

PARENTS WILL BE CHARGED $1.00 PER MINUTE WHILE YOUR CHILD IS IN KIDS’ CORNER DUE TO LATE PICK-UP.

If your child is picked up late more than once, he/she will be dismissed from the Enrichment Program and a refund will not be issued.

Student Behavior

As part of the PVPUSD the Enrichment Program complies by the Safe Schools Policy. Students are expected to behave responsibly with respect for others and their school.  Students who are disruptive in class will be given one warning and parents will be notified.  A second offense will result in removal from the class.  Students removed from the class for disciplinary reasons will forfeit class fees and parents will be notified.
