“Dr. Suess Day” in celebration of the birthday of Dr. Suess. Students are encouraged to wear stripes to show their spirit for the Dr. Seuss character, Cat in the Hat. The Cat in the Hat character will visit students in the reading garden, in the library and at the start of school. On Thursday, at 8:35 am, we will have “STOP, DROP and READ” for 20 minutes. During this time, all students should be reading a book (any book). Classes should stay on the playground to read. Kindergarten and TK classes can go inside their classrooms and read for an abbreviated amount of time if needed.
