Welcome to Reading Club!
During Reading Club, we work on phonological and phonemic awareness, reading readiness, and early reading skills. We are also learning sight words and simple CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) and VC (vowel, consonant) words. I want to encourage you to read daily and review the sight words that your classroom teacher and I are focusing on for the week.
There are resources attached that can assist your child in practicing the letters and sounds as well as phonological awareness.
