The end is near.... but there is so much we have to accomplish before then!
I have listed some important dates at the bottom of this message. The next big ones are the Science Exploratorium on May 23rd and 24th, and Science Field Day on May 25th. The Science Inquiry Project is due May 23rd at 8:30 AM. Presentations to parents are on May 24th at 9 AM in the MPR. Science Field Day is May 25th from 8:30-12 noon. Directions and notes for the Science Inquiry Project can be found on that page. They will be constantly updated through the project, so please check back often. The students will also be the Visiting Scientists for the TK, Kindergarten and 1st grade Circuit. They will be running science experiment booths for these grade levels. We need 5-8 parent volunteers to monitor the stations and help students as they teach our smallest learners about the amazing world of science.
The week after Science Field Day is Robotics Week. We will be participating in the 5th grade STEM project May 30- June 1st. Look for video and pictures on Class Dojo!
The final week of school has many fun and exciting events including the 5th Grade Field Day and Culmination. (Graduation.) Culmination will be held Thursday, June 7th from 9AM to 11AM. I am looking forward to seeing all of you during the end of the year events!
