Sure, like other top summer programs, Adventures in Writing Camp runs weekdays from 9:00 am through 3:00 pm, with extended care available.
Camp opens and closes with an energetic assembly, and throughout the day you are learning without even realizing you are learning. Games, borrowed from improvisational theater, develop brainstorming skills. Music brings Common Core aligned writing instruction to life. Credentialed teachers work with 1st graders on story skills, 2nd – 5th grade campers to create eBooks on iPads, and with middle school students to create their own blogs.
All the while, you will interact with exceptional teachers and high-energy counselors. We provide a max student to staff ratio of 7:1 to ensure your writing development receives consistent personal attention throughout the journey. It’s all designed to give you a “leg up” in the comingyear.
